Its an old saying that whatever happens it happens for the good. My life so far has been a mix of twists and turns . May be its less difficult than others but for me it was a tough journey for a good cause . I was blessed to be born in a good ,reputed ,well equipped medium class brahmin family there has been no repents till I got married . Though due to certain reasons the journey of my spirituality started from there . Till recently a dear one told me who is also an astrologer that whosoever come in your life to cause you trouble come to heal your karma.I do believe in rebirth and karma theory.
It all started in 2012 when I started showing downfall in my health . I was diagnosed with severe knee degeneration and was told to undergo operation , my Gynae health was going down, there was so severe hairfall that I started getting patches so much so that my maid used to sell my hair,my migraine was so frequent that I don’t remember any month without it ailing for weeks together, i was also declared hypertensive and life started on medicines.
There was a major hormonal disbalance and the entire life was on the verge of collapsing. That was the time when I moved into meditations and yoga. I slowly started getting confidence and regained my health over a span of 10 years . I did many courses including meditations and teachers training in yoga . When I started taking sessions and teaching yoga I became better and better each passing day.
And here I am a more confident ,rejuvenated and healthy person. The idea or intention behind establishing Maa Bharti Yog Academy was to introduce yoga in a very spiritual format that connects the body with mind and its very less understood in the masses . People might feel yoga is a tool to reduce weight or a form of exercise . But its not the real reason .Any form of exercise will only work on the superficial level once we stop doing that form we get back to ground zero also mind is never relaxed and we are eventually trapped in diseases and disorders despite of regular workouts. Yoga not only relaxes mind and rejuvenates body but also helps us to understand
the true reason for our existence , it helps us to go closer to us and help us heal ourselves to the grass root level.
It is said that to have a healthy body one must have a healthy mind too. But is it easy to have it . We can have different emotions especially negative emotion such as jealousy ,hatred, anger, anxiety which causes us trouble . This in turn can have a devastating effect on life therefore in Ayurveda we have a different definition of health which is As mentioned in shushruta samhita which means On a physical level, it defines a healthy person as someone whose doshas (mindbody constitution) are all in equilibrium, the (digestive) fire (agni) is in a balanced state, in addition to the body’s tissues (dhatus) and waste products (mala) being in balance. The quote also Inclides mental & spiritual wellbeing as it states that the mind (mana), sense organs (indriyas), and the person’s soul (atma) must be also in a pleasant state (prasanna).
When a person is balanced in all of those areas, he or she is considered healthy by Ayurvedic standards.
